Magnus is a mechanical engineering consultant and Professional Engineer in Winnipeg, MB. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba in 2021, Magnus has spent over five years as a mechanical engineering consultant in HVAC engineering and design. He has been an Associate Member of ASHRAE since 2022, and has served on the Board of Governors for the ASHRAE Manitoba Chapter since 2023. After dozens of projects of using HAP and Chvac for load calculations, Magnus decided it was time for a newer, better, more user-friendly load calculation software, and set out to create HeatWise.
Co-Founder
Matthew heads up software development for the HeatWise app. He studied Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, and has worked as a software engineer on AR/VR software and video streaming tech. His goal with HeatWise is to produce an intuitive, cloud-based load calculation app that is a pleasure to use. Too often, we speak with engineers who despise the software they use for their work, which fights them at every turn and wastes countless hours of their time. We'd like to change that.
